Dear Parents:

On Wednesday, October 24th we will have our first 2018-2019 ISP Project by celebrating United Nations Day!

Each group will learn about a specific country by becoming a "Host Country". They will give their classmates an overview of the country and a taste of its culture: traditional dress, music, food, etc. Students will do a tour around all the classrooms and they will learn about all the countries listed below. During this month students will be working together on their project in class, learning centers and in their homework.

We kindly request your support for this celebration by sending with your child the requested items from the teachers of the “Host Country” to share on Wednesday, October 24th at drop off (costume, dress, food). Each teacher will send a detailed message in the homework notebook about this.

Students can come dressed using the flag colors of their Host Country or the traditional clothing (the teachers will inform you). Please use recycled items from home for this. Costumes are not necessary.
